La 2e semaine!

Bonjour!

We had a great second week! Please see below for details of what we learned this week.


JK:
  

• We practised singing "O Canada" in French to prepare for our weekly anthem in French (happening every Tuesdays and Thursdays).
• We completed a portrait about ourselves: We traced our names and drew a picture of ourselves.
• We learned to identify ourselves as "garçon" (boy) or "fille" (girl).

• We started our calendar routine and practiced saying the date.
• We also started practicing saying the weather with actions (e.g. il fait beau, il fait chaud..)

Grade 1:

La rentrée! First week of School!

Bonjour!

We had an awesome first week of school! Here is what we did:

• We sang a Bonjour song at the beginning of every French class.
  
• We took turns passing the ball along and learning to greet and introduce our names in French (e.g. Bonjour! Je m'appelle ______.)
  
• We played a fun game like hot potato while singing the French song.
  
• We talked about classroom rules together.
  
• We started learning about the days of the week to prepare for our daily calendar routine.
