  • Students got to make a traffic light of their own.

  • We also did a counting activity where we counted colorful spots and used glue to paste the spots on the ladybugs (1 à 9).

Bonne Fête des Mères!

Bonne Fête à Toutes les Mamans!
Happy Mother's Day!

This week, students worked on activities for Mother's Day. They had fun making a card for their mom. Students learned some adjectives or good qualities to describe their mom (e.g. Ma mère est... belle, gentille, travailleuse, attentionnée, drôle, et serviable). They practiced saying these adjectives and also talked about what their mom likes or likes to do (e.g. Ma mère aime... les fleurs, faire du shopping, jouer avec moi, préparer les repas...). For those who had extra time, they got to make an adjective flower.

Our JK students did a cut and paste activity of "MAMAN" and made a card. They learned to say and write a simple yet meaningful and powerful phrase: "Je t'aime" .

Please see below for pictures. Enjoy!
