During the final week, students got to participate in various French-related games and activities, both indoor and outdoor.

Here are the pictures! Enjoy :)

• Students played on the tablets

• They played a number board game

• They played animal bingo

 

 

• They had a face-off! Students were divided into two teams. One member from each team was chosen to compete against the other team member. They were given many topics that were covered throughout the year. Their goal was to take turns naming items from the assigned topic without making a mistake or being stuck. This was a great review game!

• They worked on a fun package

• They played a ball toss game

 

• They also played a game of Spelling Ball where students have to spell a word that was given to them (e.g name of animals).

• They played le jeu du mouchoir or "Duck, Duck, Goose"

Here's a summary of what the PYP French classes did the past two weeks.

Grade 1 & 2:

• We learned where each of the farm animals live inside the farm (e.g. Le lapin habite dans le clapier, la vache habite dans l'étable...).

• We also learned where we live (la maison - a house) and what is inside it (e.g. la fenêtre, la porte, la chambre, la cuisine...).

• Students continued to play games to review the different types of animals and their habitats.

SK:

• Students reviewed materials from the past units by playing "Le jeu de dragon", which is similar to the Jeopardy game.
• We also played bingo to review numbers 1-30.

JK:

• We played many games to review materials from the past units.
• We also played bingo to review numbers 1-20.
