The week of April 3-7th
   
JK:

• We read a book about spring and used the taught spring vocabulary words to talk about what we saw/heard from the book.

• We had fun acting out spring vocabulary terms

SK:

• We read a book about spring and used the taught spring vocabulary terms to discuss what we saw/heard from the book.
• We practiced singing the spring song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKKWNJ8qsss

 

• We talked about activities related to spring (e.g. Je fais de la bicyclette. Je joue au soccer..). We also had fun acting them out!

 

• Students were introduced to a new unit that talk about the different community helpers/professions and what their work involves. 

   

Grade 1:

• We reviewed spring vocabulary terms
• We practiced singing the spring song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKKWNJ8qsss
• We talked about activities related to spring (e.g. Je fais de la bicyclette. Je joue au soccer, je saute dans une flaque d'eau...)

  

• We began to talk about art and students filled out a vocabulary worksheet with new words related to the art unit.

 

Grade 2:

• We reviewed spring vocabulary terms

• We talked about activities related to spring (e.g. Je fais de la bicyclette. Je joue au soccer, je saute dans une flaque d'eau...)
• We practiced conjugating "-er" verbs with spring activities on the board
