Bonjour!

Please take a look at what we did in French class this past week.

JK:

• We learned to count from 1-20.
• We sang the number song : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsEz58BblMY
• We played number games.

 

SK:

• We've been learning about the different community helpers/professions: what they do and where they work.
• We wrote and drew a picture of what we want to be when we grow up by copying the sentence "Quand je serai grand(e), je serai ________________." and filling in the blank (e.g. docteur, professeur(e), dentiste, etc.).

Grade 1:

• We learned about winter activities/sports and talked about our favourite winter activity/sport by completing the phrase: "Pendant l'hiver, j'aime...".
• We played charades to guess the activities/sports.

100 jours d'école, la St-Valentin et le jour de la famille!

The PYP French classes have been working on activities related to 100 days of school, Valentine's Day and Family Day. Please see below for pictures and more details.


We learned Valentine's vocabulary words.

We played some fun games to help us retain the vocabulary.

We worked on a counting activity for 100 days of school.

 We made a Valentine's day card for mom and dad!

We talked about family and learned family vocabulary words for Family Day. We then drew a picture of our family.
