Bonsoir,
Today was a revision day for most classes. Here’s an outline
of what we did today in French class:
Grade 1/2:
- Reviewed days of the week and months of the year. Students demonstrated their learning by saying today’s date. Students did a great job remembering the days and month.
- Reviewed colour and numbers. Students did well on this.
- Played "Simon dit" (Simon says) to review body parts
Grade 1:

- Learned the alphabets from A-M with flash cards
SK:
- Reviewed colours and numbers
- Played “Simon dit” to practice body parts
- Sang “Tête, épaules, genoux et pieds”. Students had fun singing and doing the actions with me. They were super!
JK:
- Learned to distinguish between a boy (un garçon) and a girl (une fille)
- Students did a great job telling me if a member of the class is a girl or boy when I pointed to him/her
- Students did an activity while working in small groups and putting pictures of boys and girls in the right category (I tried to include pictures of boys and girls from different cultures to make everyone feel included!)
Excellent work everyone. See you tomorrow!
Merci,
Mlle. Jessica
