JK:
  • We learned to count up to 20, sang the numbers song and played number games.
























SK:
  • We played number games to review numbers 1-30.
  • We talked more about the planets, arranging the order of the planets based on their distance from the Sun (Mercure, Vénus, Terre, Mars...) and their physical features (la plus proche du soleil = Mercure. La plus grande planète = Jupiter. Notre planète = Terre.)
  • Students learned to respond orally to questions about the planets. Below are just a few examples:
    • Qu'est-ce que c'est la plus grande planète dans le système solaire?
    • Qu'est-ce que c'est notre planète?
    • Qu'est-ce que c'est la proche planète du soleil? 
    • Quelle planète possède des anneaux? 
    • Quelle planète possède 27 lunes? 
  




 

















Grade 1:
  • We played number games to review numbers 1-50
  • We talked about what we like and what we wear..
  • We worked on a worksheet and did a cut and paste activity of winter sports 























Grade 2:
  • We played number games to review numbers 1-100
  • We talked about what we like and what we wear...
  • We learned to conjugate -er verbs "aimer" ("to like") and "porter" ("to wear") with various pronouns (Je, Tu, Il, Elle...)
  • We did a cut and paste activity of winter sports
