La semaine du 15 au 18 mai

JK:
  • We learned about the three types of animals based on how they move: marcher "those that walk", voler "those that fly" and nager "those that swim". We used animals figurines to sort out the types.

  • It was a really nice day so we decided to take learning outside! We had fun playing games relating to the themes we touched upon.

SK:

We started the feelings unit: We used play-doh to make different faces of emotions.

  • We worked on a worksheet. We had to draw the different faces of emotions to match with the terms. We then wrote and drew how we felt that day : "Aujourdhui, je me sens..." Students had to write whether they are content(e) "happy" , triste "sad", excité(e) "excited", peur "scared", fatigué(e) "tired" or surpris(e) "surprised".

  • It was a really nice day so we decided to take learning outside! We had fun playing games relating to the themes we touched upon.

  • We created a feelings class chart. We stuck our name under the feeling we had that day. Most of us were excited because of the long weekend coming up!

  • We sang a song about feelings and played a game.
