Quand je suis.... When I am.....
content(e), je frappe des mains. happy, I clap my hands.
fâché(e), je frappe du pied. angry, I stomp my foot.
triste, je pleure. sad, I cry.
excité(e), je dis "Youppi!!" excited, I say "Yippee!!"
surpris(e), je dis "Oh là là" surprised, I say "Oh my!"
Grade 1:
- We played hangman to review the names of different animals we've learned.
- We talked about where animals live and physical characteristics (e.g. L'animal a... des poils, des plumes, des pattes... etc. "The animal has... hair/fur, feathers, legs.... etc".)
- We continued to work on our endangered animal group assignment. In groups, we worked together to answer questions about a specific animal's colour, size, weight, their habitat, food, why they are endangered...etc. We then wrote the information on sticky notes to put up on our endangered animal chart paper. After that's all done, we presented the information to the class.
