La 7e semaine!

Bonjour!

Below is a summary of what we did in French class the previous week.

JK:

• We learned more colours. We went around the classroom to find objects that correspond to each colour.
• We played various fun colour games.

SK:

• We talked about what products farm animals provide (e.g. La poule nous donne des oeufs. La vache nous donne du lait...). Students did an awesome job matching the products with the correct farm animals! We then completed a cut and paste activity where we had to paste the correct product to the farm animal. 

  Grade 1:

• We continue to talk about responsibilities at the school.
• As a class, we completed a true and false activity based on some rules we've discussed (e.g. "À l'école, je porte mon pyjama." Faux. Je porte mon uniforme!!)
• Students got to write in their journal how they are responsible at school.
• We also learned about classroom activities and the action words that are connected to each classroom object (e.g. Avec le crayon. j'écris. Avec les ciseaux. je découpe. Avec les crayons de couleurs, je colorie.) We then completed a worksheet.
