JK:

We started learning numbers 1-20. We sang the numbers song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsEz58BblMY and practiced counting from 1-20. 

 

SK:

We talked about space and the solar system. We learned the names of the nine planets and discussed their physical characteristics (e.g. Jupiter est grand "Jupiter is large". Mars est rouge "Mars is red". Pluton est petit "Pluto is small"). We each were assigned a planet and we had to put them in order based on their distance from the Sun. We also had fun labeling the planets and colouring them.
 

Grade 1:

We learned some new winter activities/sports. We completed a cut and paste activity where we have to match the pictures with the correct activity. We also wrote about our favourite winter activity in our journal.
