La 6e semaine

Bonjour!

Below is a summary of what we did in French class this past week.

JK:

• We started on our toy unit learning about the different types of toys (e.g. un ballon, une voiture, un train, une poupée, une peluche...) 

 

• We played lots of games to remember the toy vocabulary words including musical ball game and what's missing.

 

• We also participated in a fun activity where we had to find the toys that were hidden around the classroom. Students had so much fun!

SK:

• We continued to participate in fun activities such as musical ball game to review farm animals. Students are able to easily name the different types of farm animals we have learned in class

• We talked about what farm animals provide us (e.g. la poule nous donne des oeufs, la vache nous donne du lait...). Students did an awesome job matching the products with the animals!

Grade 1:

• We started on a new unit talking about responsibilities. We learned about the different ways we can be responsible at home (e.g. Je brosse mes dents, je fais mon lit, je mange bien mes repas...)

• Students are able to say how they are responsible by forming a complete sentence (e.g. Je suis responsable parce que...je brosse mes dents.)  
• We wrote in our journals how we can be responsible at home

Grade 2:

• We learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin

 

 

 

•  We did a cut-and-paste activity of the pumpkin life cycle
