La 4e semaine!

   

Bonjour!

Please take a look at what we did this past week in French class!

JK:

 

• We briefly talked about Terry Fox, who he was and what he did. We sang a song about him - "La Persévérance", by Gregg LeRock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwpzXxU7VWk
• We practiced counting and tracing numbers from 6-10.

SK:

• We started a new unit on farm animals. Students learned about the different animals that live on the farm and the sounds they make (e.g. le cochon - groin groin, le mouton - bêê bêê, la vache - meuh meuh).
• We sang a song about farm animals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ms7e7O7TRk
• We played "Qu'est-ce qu'il manque / What's missing?" to help students remember the names of the animals.

Gr. 1:

• We learned to differentiate between masculine, feminine and plural objects within the classroom (un ♂, une ♀, des ♀♀ ).
• We played "J'ai...Qui a.../I have.. Who has.." to practice un ♂, une ♀, and des ♀♀ with classroom objects.
