La rentrée! First week of School!

Bonjour!

We had an awesome first week of school! Here is what we did:

JK:

• We sang a Bonjour song at the beginning of every French class.
  
• We took turns passing the ball along and learning to greet and introduce our names in French (e.g. Bonjour! Je m'appelle ______.)
  
• We played a fun game like hot potato while singing the French song.
  
• We talked about classroom rules together.
  
• We started learning about the days of the week to prepare for our daily calendar routine.

 

SK:

Grade 1:

• We sang a Bonjour song at the beginning of every French class.
  
• We took turns passing the ball along and learning to greet, introduce our names, say our age in French and talk about what we like (e.g. Bonjour! Je m'appelle _____ J'ai ____ ans. J'aime _________.) to learn more about each other.
  
• We played a fun game like hot potato while singing the Bonjour song.
  
• We talked about classroom rules together.
  
• We reviewed the days of the week, months of the year and numbers 1-30 and started doing the calendar together.
