C'est l'Halloween!

Bonjour!

This week, the theme was Halloween. All the classes learned Halloween vocabulary words, sang a song about Halloween, played games to review vocabulary words, and worked on Halloween activity sheets.

Here are some pictures/videos of what we did!

We sang and danced to a song about Halloween.

The JKs worked on a Halloween themed worksheet where they traced the numbers 1-5 and coloured the pictures.

Since the SKs are learning about the senses, we talked about body parts, discussed the five senses of Halloween and worked on a worksheet.

For example:

  • Avec les yeux, je vois une sorcière "With the eyes, I see a witch".
  • Avec le nez, je sens des bonbons "With the nose, I smell candies".
  • Avec les oreilles, j'entends une fantôme "With the ears, I hear a ghost".
  • Avec la bouche, je mange/goûte des bonbons "With the mouth, I eat/taste candies".
  • Avec les mains, je touche une citrouille "With the hands, I touch a pumpkin".

We worked on Halloween colour by number activities.

We all played a fun game of BINGO to review our Halloween vocabulary!
