C'est l'Halloween!

Bonjour!

This week, the theme was Halloween. All the classes learned Halloween vocabulary words, sang a song about Halloween, played games to review vocabulary words, and worked on Halloween activity sheets. 

On Halloween day, we talked about what we dressed up as for Halloween by completing the phrase "Je me déguise en...". It was so nice to see all the cool costumes!!

We sang and danced to a song about Halloween.

We played "Qu'est-ce qui manque?" and matching game.

We played a game of Charades to guess the Halloween words.

We played a fun game of BINGO!!

We worked on Halloween color by number activities.

The JKs worked on a Halloween themed worksheet where they traced the numbers 1-5 and coloured the pictures.

Since the SKs are starting their senses unit, we talked about body parts, the five senses of Halloween and worked on a worksheet.

For example:

• Avec les yeux, je vois une sorcière "With the eyes, I see a witch".
  
• Avec le nez, je sens des bonbons "With the nose, I smell candies".
  
• Avec les oreilles, j'entends un fantôme "With the ears, I hear a ghost".
• Avec la bouche, je mange/goûte des bonbons "With the mouth, I eat/taste candies".
  
• Avec les mains, je touche une citrouille "With the hands, I touch a pumpkin".
